AI and Architecture - ARC480

This project was an exploration into the realm of AI integrated with pre existing architecture.

For this project, our aim was to encapsulate the essence of Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic architectural style, crafting an homage to his life’s work through the medium of ‘paper architecture.’ Utilizing Eden Art AI, we curated a dataset comprising 2D images of renowned FLW residential facades, allowing the AI to discern and distill the quintessential elements of his design language.

The AI then transformed these images into a versatile ‘style template,’ adaptable to our creative prompts. From this template, we generated an array of architectural components – from homes and skyscrapers to automobiles – all bearing the unmistakable imprint of FLW’s aesthetic.

These outputs were seamlessly integrated into an idealized cityscape, envisioning a utopian urban environment reflective of FLW’s visionary concepts. This endeavor serves not only as a tribute to FLW’s legacy but also as a celebration of the enduring influence of paper architecture in capturing the dreams and aspirations of architects across generations.
